Where do I go for a marriage license?
The Village of Leicester does not handle marriage licenses. The Leicester Town Clerk's Office, 132 Main Street, Leicester would be glad to provide your marriage license. Remember applications must be made at least 24 hours, but no more than 60 days, prior to the marriage ceremony.
How do I request a copy of my Marriage License/Certificate?
Marriage records originally obtained in the Leicester Town Clerk's Office can always be requested from the Leicester Town Clerk in person or by the mail. A copy of a valid photo ID of either the bride or groom is required.
