INCREASE PENALITIES ON LATE WATER BILLS
At the September 18, 2023 board meeting the Village Board of Trustees voted to increase the penalties on unpaid water bills the new penalty rates are:
10% 30 days past due
25% 60 days past due
LEAF & BRUSH PICK-UP
No large branches or trees will be picked up.
Curb-side pick-up 1st & 3rd Mondays
(Tuesday pickup if Monday is holiday)
ALL WEEDS & LEAVES MUST BE IN BROWN BAGS!

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 20, 2025, there has been presented to the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Leicester, proposed Local Law No. 3 for 2025. A local law authorizing a property tax levy in excess of the limit established in general municipal law § 3-c for the 2026-2027 fiscal year.
THEREFORE, pursuant to statute, the Village Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on said Local Law at 6:30 P.M. on October 20, 2025, at the Leicester Village Hall, 52 South Parkway Leicester New York, at which time and place all persons interested will be heard. A copy of the proposed Local Law is on file for public review at the Village Office during regular business hours or on the Village website www.villageofleicester.org
